This
Chapter does not cover:
a)
Products
of the kinds described in heading Nos. 02.01 to 02.08 or 02.10, unfit or
unsuitable for human consumption;
b)
Guts,
bladders or stomachs of animals (heading No. 05.04) or animal blood (heading
No. 05.11 or 03.02); or
c)
Animal
fat, other than products of heading No. 02.09 (Chapter 15).
Explanatory
remarks to chapter 2
1- The importation and exportation of products covered by this chapter are subject to the observance of Article 7 of the veterinary law adopted in the year 1971 (1350).
2-
The
importation of products of this chapter which are prepared from the meat of
religiously banned animals or the meat of religiously allowed animals slaughtered
according to non-Islamic rules is prohibited.
3-
The
importation and exportation of animal and bird products covered by this chapter
are subject to the approval of the Environment Protection Organization.
4-
The
importation of products of these subheading 020311 to
020329 and 020630 to 020690 and 021011 to 021019 is prohibited.
