 Introduction

Since  1346  (1967  A.D.)  and  after accession of Iran to "Customs
Convention  Concerning  Facilities  for  the  Importation of Goods for
Display  or  Use at Exhibitions, Fairs, Meetings or Similar Events" on
16  April  1968,  twelve international fairs, four Asian international
fairs  and  some specialized fairs have been organized at the premises
of  the permanent international fair or other places in Iran, and Iran
has  mutually  participated at many fairs held in other countries. The
best   and   most   important   result  of  Iran's  accession  to  the
aforementioned  convention  is  acquaintance of Iranian specialists and
merchants  with  the  new  achievements  in  the field of industry and
agriculture on the one hand, and presentation of Iranian export goods,
and  marketing  in  foreign  markets for home-made products, specially
after  the  glorious Islamic Revolution of Iran, on the other hand. In
view  of  the  fact,  acquaintance  of  honorable  participants with the
customs  regulations and formalities, concerning the goods for display
is  of great importance of many difficulties, therefore, Fairs Customs
has  gathered  the  relevant  regulations  in  the present booklet for
furnishing participants and persons interested, with a guidance source
and thus further provide their satisfaction.
Goods  entering  fair  customs  premises  are  divided  in two main
 categories.
